Mindful Grooming by Katy provides mobile pet grooming services throughout New Orleans, led by Katy and her team and grounded in a calm, compassionate, and mindful approach to animal care. As the business continued to grow, it needed a clearer digital presence that reflected its values while supporting a more intentional client onboarding process.

Rather than a traditional booking-based model, Mindful Grooming required a website that could educate prospective clients, set expectations, and allow clients to apply for services through a detailed intake process.

Mindful Grooming by Katy partnered with After Hours Media to design and develop a website that aligned with how the business actually operates — prioritizing care, fit, and trust from the very first interaction.

Our Approach

After Hours Media began by translating Mindful Grooming by Katy’s values into a clear, welcoming digital experience. We focused on tone, structure, and clarity, ensuring the website felt calm, confident, and aligned with the way Katy and her team work in practice.

We designed and built a custom Squarespace website centered around an application-based intake model, embedding a detailed form directly into the site to collect essential client and pet information upfront. Supporting pages were structured to clearly outline services, pricing, policies, and certifications, reducing friction and administrative back-and-forth before scheduling.

Throughout the build, we emphasized intuitive navigation, brand-aligned copy, and thoughtful pacing — allowing visitors to fully understand the service before applying.
