The Opportunity
New Orleans Lambda Center serves as a vital meeting place for the LGBTQ+ recovery community, providing space for autonomous 12-step groups and peer connection. As the Center looked toward its next chapter, it sought to modernize its digital presence and better connect with a younger generation of community members and supporters.
Our Approach
After Hours Media partnered with New Orleans Lambda Center to establish a consistent, contemporary brand presence across digital touchpoints. We launched and built out the Center’s Instagram presence (@nolalambdacenter) to support regular communication, community updates, and storytelling.
In parallel, we redesigned the Lambda Center website with a refreshed look and feel, prioritizing clarity, accessibility, and ease of use. Special focus was placed on improving the donation experience, implementing a donor management system, and creating a more intuitive user journey for both new and returning visitors.
The legacy website was deprecated, with traffic redirected seamlessly to the new site. A new domain, nolalambdacenter.org, was established to align with the Center’s updated brand and Instagram handle.
